Therefore, as recommended by the United Methodist Church 2004 Book of Discipline, it is critical that every church have an endowment fund and provide ongoing seminars and educational materials to church members on how they can effectively give to their United Methodist Church and better provide for their families.

The Foundation maintains a library of resources for educating church members on planned giving opportunities. The materials are free and can be obtained by contacting our office at umfinc@qwest.net.

The Foundation also employs Planned Giving Consultants to provide educational seminars on various planned giving topics. The Foundation also provides these Consultants for free one-hour consultations with individuals to explore their possibilities.
